St. Michael & All Angels Evensong — Honoring First Responders

Sunday, September 27, 2026 — 4:00 p.m.

Near the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels — the great festival of the angels — Holy Trinity offers a service of Choral Evensong in honor of the first responders who watch over our community.

Evensong is one of the treasures of the Anglican tradition: a quiet, sung service of psalms, canticles, scripture, and prayer at the close of the day, drawn from the Book of Common Prayer. Sung by the Parish and Festival Choirs, it offers a space of beauty and stillness for reflection and thanksgiving.

At this service we offer a special blessing for police officers, firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, and all who serve and protect. We warmly welcome them, their families, and the whole community to join us — no familiarity with the service is needed; simply come as you are.
