The St. Cecilia Music Guild
Named for Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians, the St. Cecilia Music Guild supports and sustains the rich tradition of sacred music at Holy Trinity.
What the Guild does
The Guild underwrites the musical life of the parish — funding special musical events and guest musicians, caring for our instruments (including the historic pipe organ), and supporting the Parish Choir and Festival Choir. It also presents beloved occasions such as the Madrigal Feast, services of Choral Evensong, and concerts throughout the year.
Among the Guild’s current efforts is the restoration of the parish’s historic pipe organ. You can read about that work on our 2025 Organ Project page.
The Music Endowment
To secure the future of music ministry at Holy Trinity for generations to come, the Guild is building a music endowment. Endowment gifts — including bequests and memorial gifts — provide lasting, year-after-year support for our choirs, our organ, and the sacred music that lifts our worship. A gift to the endowment is a way to ensure that beautiful music will continue to sound in this historic church long into the future.
If you would like to support the endowment, make a memorial gift, or remember the music program in your estate plans, please contact the Director of Music or the Parish Office at (626) 967-3939 or holytrinitycovina@yahoo.com.
Support the music
Gifts to the St. Cecilia Music Guild directly support the music program. You can give online below — please note that your gift is designated for the St. Cecilia Guild of Music — or speak with the Director of Music about a particular gift.
